The Coleman Sundome Camping Tent is an excellent choice for beginner car campers or folks who only camp a couple of times a year and don’t want to spend too much on a tent. It comes in multiple sizes, starting at a 2-person tent and going up to a 6-person size. It is a three-season tent, and the 2-person style is advertised as a backpacking tent, but most backpackers likely want something a bit lighter. This is a great budget tent, to begin with, and it’s even more affordable when it is on sale.
A ton of Coleman tents are on sale for Prime Day, and another one we want to highlight is the Coleman Dome Tent with Screen Room. This is a 3-season tent that is available in both a 6-person and 8-person size. We love these tents for the roomy design and the additional screen room, making it easy to take shoes on and off without letting all the bugs inside. The 8-person tent can fit two queen air mattresses with plenty of extra room to move around and store some gear. If you buy this tent on Prime Day, you can get up to 46% off the original price.
Coleman makes several lantern styles, and the BatteryGuard LED Lanterns are among the most popular. Available in four sizes ranging from 200 lumens to 1000 lumens. The BatteryGuard system is ideal as it helps preserve the battery, stops it from draining, and reduces corrosion. That means you can store it with the batteries inside the lantern without worrying about the batteries corroding it. It also is quite bright and lasts a long time with a stellar runtime of about 14 hours even when run on high.
If you camp as a couple, the Coleman Quattro Lax Double Quad Chair is a fun way to get cozy around the campfire. It takes on a love seat feel as it only has two armrests and allows two people to comfortably sit side by side in one chair. It is just as strong as a standard folding chair, with each seat with a weight capacity of 225 lbs. Setting it up is no extra hassle, as it opens and folds like a single-person chair. There is additional storage for jackets, bug spray, and more on the back of each seat. It’s the perfect chair to take with camping or available for backyard BBQs and fires.
An air mattress is useful for car camping and having a spare place to sleep when guests visit. This particular Coleman Air Mattress is a double high bed available in twin and queen sizes. The double high is excellent for folks who want an air mattress a bit higher off the ground, making it easier to get up and down onto the bed. It has a manual inflation method but is compatible with all Coleman air bed pumps (sold separately). The dual-sealed valve makes the bed easy to inflate and reduces the risk of leaking air while asleep. In reality, this is a standard double high air mattress. It is of reasonable quality, and it’s hard to beat the Prime Day prices.
If you’re someone that likes camping in several seasons, the Coleman All-Weather Multi-Layer Sleeping Bag could be a good option. The three layers can be separated. They’re machine washable, and when all three are combined, they are suitable for temperatures as low as 0˚F (-18˚C). The all-weather layer can be used alone at 60˚F (15˚C) and above, the warm weather layer is suitable for temperatures 45-55˚F (7-12˚C), and the cold weather layer can be used in temperatures as low as 32˚F (0˚C). It is like having four sleeping bags in one because when combined, you can tackle average cold weather conditions.
A classic camping accessory is an ax. The Coleman Camp Axe is a portable and durable ax option to have at home, to use when camping, pack into the RV, or even use overlanding. It only weighs 2lbs and comes equipped with a handle grip and a drop-forged steel head. As a Coleman ax, it isn’t the fanciest or the highest functioning ax you can buy for camping, but it works well and comes at a reasonable price.
Boats are likely not the first thing you think of when you think of the Coleman brand. But if you are on the hunt for a budget boat that can fit two people and is easy to store, the Coleman Colossus 2-Person Boat is an excellent choice. It is a paddle boat style so that it won’t track as well as something like a kayak or canoe, but it can fit two people comfortably. It is relatively lightweight, so it’s easy to transport. Plus, it is inflatable, so you won’t have to worry about this boat much if you are low on storage space. The standard retail price is already quite affordable, but if you want an even better deal, jump on their Prime Day discount.
We are in the heat of summer, and we all need a durable, long-lasting outdoor cooler. The Coleman Xtreme Portable Cooler is said to keep ice for up to five days in temperatures as high as 90˚F (32˚C). It is a standard-size cooler with a capacity of 100 cans. Unlike other cheaper cooler designs, the lid has a weight capacity of 250lbs, making it a reliable place to sit down. All in all, this is a standard cooler with excellent field performance. It would be a great buy for backyard BBQs, tailgating, car camping, or even a day at the beach.
The Coleman Fold and Go Portable Grill is truly a grill on the go. It is excellent for small gatherings, camping, and travel. The portable grill has components that are dishwasher safe, it can run for hours on a 16 oz canister of propane, and it provides precise temperature control. This grill is functional for small groups but wouldn’t be best for large families or get-togethers. It is very easy to carry and transport, especially if you are short on storage space but love the idea of grilling on the go.
About the size of an average card table, the Coleman Folding Table has three different height capabilities and leveling feet, making it suitable for camp spots with uneven ground. While any folding table can work, the unique 4-in-1 design allows you to customize the table to the needs of your group. It can transform into a standard square table, a bi-level table, a buffet table, or even two separate tables. It is easy to carry and folds down to be portable.
Sleeping on the ground isn’t everyone’s style. So, if you are car camping or setting up a basecamp for your next hunt, why not try out the Coleman Pack-Away Camping Cot? Cots are excellent for elevating you off the ground, making it easy to get up and lay down. The Coleman Pack-Away design has a removable side table perfect for holding a water bottle, glasses, or a phone. It can accommodate people up to 6’6” and comes with a portable carrying bag.
The Coleman Montana tent is perfect for summer camping adventures with the family. You can buy it in a 6-person or 8-person and the easy setup makes it perfect for weekend trips. The 8-person tent is spacious enough to fit three queen size air mattresses and the corner welds and inverted seams help keep the inside dry. The extended awning is perfect for muddy boots and shoes and the easy access door makes getting in and out a breeze. The 8-person tent is 59% off right now during Amazon Prime Day.
The Coleman Triton camping stove has been a staple in the camping world for some time. It is portable and easy to bring to the campsite with a sturdy handle for transportation. It has two independently adjustable burners and a push-button for instant ignition. It can fit a 12-inch and 10-ich pan and has up to 22,000 BTUs of cooking power. At 39% off, it will be tough to find a better deal than this.
